Sleep in the Eixample or Gràcia. Day-ticket Gaudí. Treat Barceloneta as an afternoon, not a hotel strategy.

Sagrada Família and the Eixample

The basilica sits in the grid. Stay nearby if morning tickets are your plan. Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are the other façades people photograph — pick one interior if you pick any.

Park Güell

On the hill above Gràcia. Metro plus a walk, or a bus. Timed entry for the monumental zone.

Gothic Quarter and El Born

The old city and the slightly calmer neighbour. Picasso Museum is in El Born if you want one indoor hour that is not Gaudí.

Gràcia and Barceloneta

Gràcia for dinner and plazas. Barceloneta for a swim. Neither replaces the tickets you came for.
