Paro arrival
Pick-up and permit formalities, then a warm-up walk to Rinpung Dzong and a first night in Paro town.

The classic guided hike up to Paro Taktsang, the Tiger’s Nest, with a cafeteria viewpoint lunch and time inside the monastery.

Dochula to Punakha
Drive over the Dochula Pass to warm Punakha; afternoon at the riverside Punakha Dzong.
