Granada is one monument done properly, then a neighbourhood walk. Everything else is optional.

Enter the Nasrid Palaces on time

Your ticket hour is the visit. Arrive early for security. The Court of the Lions and the Hall of the Ambassadors are why people fly to Andalucía. Photography without a tripod; no lingering past the flow of the group.

Walk the Generalife

Gardens, water channels, and mountain air above the palaces. Do this the same ticket day. It is not a leftover — it is the breath after the stucco.

Watch the Alhambra from the Albaicín

Mirador de San Nicolás is the famous terrace. Go at dusk. The floodlit palace is the second ticket you cannot buy — only walk to.

Sacromonte after, not instead

Cave flamenco is a different evening from Seville’s Triana. Do it on a non-Alhambra night if you can. The hill is steep; wear shoes that grip.

The cathedral and the baños

Granada Cathedral and the Arab baths are the city-centre extras. Fine if you have a third day. They do not replace the hill.
