- Day 1
Paro arrival
Permit formalities and a heritage briefing, with an evening visit to Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum.

Tiger’s Nest trek
The guided climb to Paro Taktsang, the Tiger’s Nest, founded where Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated.
- Day 3
Dochula to Punakha
Cross the Dochula Pass to the historic riverside fortress of Punakha Dzong.
- Day 4
Punakha to Trongsa
Long scenic drive through Phobjikha to the commanding Trongsa Dzong, ancestral seat of the kings.
- Day 5
Trongsa & Ta Dzong
Explore Trongsa Dzong and the Ta Dzong watchtower museum before continuing to Bumthang.
- Day 6
Bumthang ancient temples
Kurjey Lhakhang, the 7th-century Jambay Lhakhang and Jakar Dzong in the spiritual Bumthang valley.

Bumthang valleys
Tamshing Lhakhang, the Burning Lake (Mebar Tsho) and a Swiss-cheese and honey farm visit.

Return west
Drive back toward Paro with overnight en route and a farewell heritage dinner.
